Easement Properties

Conservation easements allow today’s landowners to continue to own and use their lands, while providing the reassurance that their cherished lands will be well-managed in the future.  Landowners (easement “grantors”) work with the SRLT to determine their vision for future land use, and the SRLT assumes responsibility for ensuring that vision is forever honored.  Conservation easement lands remain in private ownership.  Most conservation easements do not provide for public access.
