Jim Reed, Vice Chairman

Jim Reed of Freedom recently retired as Associate Professor of Environmental Humanities at Unity College. He taught writing courses on the secondary and college level for 35 years. He lives with his wife in “the woods” of Montville on 40 acres and is in the process of preserving some of his 90-acre tract bordering Sandy Pond for wildlife and recreation.  Jim presently co-chairs the CommUnity Trail Committee and loves to hike trails, especially in New Zealand, Eire, and Patagonia.
