I’m an ecologist by profession and a nature lover at heart. I’ve lived in Hartland for 6 years and value how this rural part of the watershed allows me to raise our small children with an appreciation for the natural world. We like to hike, collect fire wood, catch frogs and learn about the wildlife and vegetation communities we encounter.
As a new member of SRLT, I look forward to helping to conserve the way of life and the natural resources so abundant in the watershed. Humans gain tremendous value from healthy, functioning ecosystems – from providing wildlife habitat to clean water to forest products necessary to make a living and warm our homes.
I volunteer for our watershed organizations, first Sebasticook River Watershed Association and now SRLT, because I want to connect with the community and help maintain the abundance of resources in the watershed.
