About The Event
Join us in celebration of our newest preserve! This generous donation to the Sebasticook Regional Land Trust by Julia Karet and Dana Ward in south Unity helps protect vital headwaters of the Sebasticook River. The forested hills and valleys provide habitat for a wide variety of wildlife, including deer, fox, snowshoe hare, and bobcat. Fly Brook converges with other small brooks here to contribute to the vast system of tributaries that comprise the Sebasticook River watershed. We will have a short walk on the new loop trail that connects to the Hills to Sea Trail, followed by brief presentations and dancing to music by Fully Funktional while enjoying food by Downtown Charcuterie.
Parking will be available along the side of the road between the Hills to Sea Trail trailhead on the preserve property and 191 Clark Road. Please follow directions on the parking signs.
