Volunteer Work Parties

Trail work and other maintenance of preserves is conducted regularly throughout the year when weather allows. The Stewardship Committee usually works the last Sunday of each month from 8:00 AM to noon. We recently began working with a Thursday morning volunteer crew and can often accommodate independent projects. Contact us at the email below if you are interested in meeting the crew and helping out!

Our next scheduled work party is Sunday, November 23 from 8:00 AM to noon at the Kanokolus Bog Preserve in Unity. Email us at info@sebasticookrlt.org if you'd like to join us and help out - we always have fun!

We owe a big thanks to area schools, including ninth graders from RSU-3 (shown above), Ecology Learning Center, and RSU-19 who have helped over the years with continued trail improvements, invasive plant removal, and live stake harvesting and planting among other stewardship activities.
