About The Event

Join our volunteer crew to improve trails at the Kanokolus Bog Preserve and to learn more about this 189-acre Forever Wild conservation area. We plan to focus on constructing bog bridges but will also work to remove invasive plants such as honeysuckle and multi-flora rose if time allows. Equipment is provided, but please be prepared for the weather, bring heavy duty work gloves, waterproof footwear, and water. Directions to the site: From downtown Unity, drive on Route 202 toward Albion - at 3.6 miles look for the preserve sign and parking area on the east side of the road.
