About The Event
Join Sebasticook Regional Land Trust’s (SRLT) board member Buck O’Herin for a two-mile hike on the land trust’s new Clark Road Wildlife Preserve in Unity on Saturday April 18 at 9am. The 91-acre preserve was donated to SRLT in 2025 by landowners Dan Ward and Julia Karet. Only a portion of the property has been selectively cut since the early 1970s. The Hills to Sea Trail crosses the property and additional trails have been built on the land since it was acquired. We’ll talk sparingly about SRLT’s conservation work and the intersection of outdoor recreation and land conservation. Primarily, we’ll just appreciate this charming piece of land tucked in Unity’s southeast corner. Meet at the Clark Road Wildlife Preserve Trailhead on Clark Road.
