Carlson Woods Preserve
Carlson Woods contains 27 acres of mixed forest on Waning Road in Unity. Public access is encouraged by the landowner who donated the easement in August 2010. A loop road passes through the woodland which is uphill from the Kanokolus Bog.
The land is private but you are welcome to walk on the trails. This easement is provided for public access. No fiddlehead or gathering without explicit permission. Walk and stay on the trail and take with you what you brought in leaving only footprints. Find directions HERE.
