This land that makes up this preserve was generously donated by Jane Fasullo in 2013.  The trail provides a quiet walk through mixed forest that passes several high quality vernal pools.  A kiosk funded by a Maine Outdoor Heritage Fund grant features information on the pool residents.  The woodlands also host a representative forest songbird community and local mammals.  Trails provide a short hike or snowshoe during the winter months.

There is a cleared parking area off the road, with an informational kiosk that is kept open by volunteer snowplower Dwight Gould. The property is just north of Mitchell's Metal Roofing.

In 2022 we plan to expand the trail system to include a second loop which will allow more extensive exploration of the forest.
