GREAT FARM BROOK PRESERVE
Great Farm Brook Preserve offers 56 acres of managed woods along the Brook, conserved in association with Central Maine Power's Maine Power Reliability Program. A woods road bisects the property. There are also several side loops. Be on the lookout for the resident beavers who have built a dam across the original access road. You will also find a high value vernal pool a bit more than halfway down the main trail at a short spur trail.
Winter users should stay alert for snowmobiles, which are allowed on the access road.
